Everytime I hear the word peppermint, I think of Strawberry Alarm Clock and the song Incense and Peppermints. I love the lyrics…the mention of the occasions and persuassions that clutter our minds, the meaningless nouns, the color of time. Who cares what games we choose? Little to win but nothing to lose. Okay okay…enough about the song, although it is a good segway into the creation of this vodka in which you have just the opposite—lots to win and nothing to lose. When you don’t know what to get your male friends for Christmas—go with alcohol. There are but a few ingredients needed to concoct this peppermint vodka: candy canes, vodka, mason jars, and Strawberry Alarm Clock in the background. Fill each mason jar with vodka. Break apart one candy can per jar and let it sit for two days or until dissolved. Walaaa! Decorate the jars however you please and that’s that! :)
