“We should all do what, in the long run, gives us joy, even if it is only picking grapes or sorting the laundry.” E.B. White
E.B. White was always full of good ideas—a hyperactive pig who named Wilbur who explores everything in Charlotte’s Web, a talking mouse born to human parents in Stuart Little…ideas like that. But we should not forget about this idea: just how joyful the act of picking grapes can be. Try it. One by one. I promise, it’s invigorating.
You Will Need:
Toothpicks
Grapes
Honey Goat Cheese
Chopped Pecans
Nutmeg
Maybe it’s the fact that finals are FINAL-ly over…but it seems to me that my recipes have become increasingly easier (for now). So in that case, all you have to do is this: —
1. Chop your pecans and mix with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
2. Roll the goat cheese and cover with the pecan mixture.
3. Stick a toothpick through both the cheese and the grape.
4. Grab a copy of Charlotte’s Web or Stuart Little.
5. Celebrate simplicity.
Cheers!
