Very Berry Lemonade with a Tangelo Twist

Listening to Donovan while squeezing fresh lemons is the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday morning in San Francisco. After a late Saturday night (and early morning) of drinking pinot noir and dancing around an empty living room in an old Victorian house to golden oldies, my friend Daniela and I decided that it seemed only fitting to start our day off with something vibrant, cool, and refreshing. And here is what we created…

Tangelo Lemonade with Raspberries and Blackberries
Squeeze the juice of 8 lemons into a pitcher. Add water and sugar until you reach your desired flavor. Add half a cup of frozen blackberries and raspberries to the bottom of each hurricane glass (we essentially wanted to use these frozen fruits as our icecubes) and fill with lemonade. Squeeze the juice of half a tangelo into each drink. Garnish with tangelo wedge. This makes about three large glasses!

Cheers!
